This year, the restaurant is participating in the Calgary Food & Drink Experience, offering a five-course Latin-inspired tasting menu for $75. The experience must be booked online in advance, and it promises to be a culinary journey that diners won't soon forget.

Located in the heart of downtown Calgary, Fortuna's Row is known for its commitment to sourcing local ingredients and creating dishes that showcase the flavours and techniques of Latin cuisine. The restaurant's menu is inspired by the traditional cooking styles of Peru, Mexico, and other Latin American countries, and it features fresh, bold ingredients and creative presentations.

The first course is a Peruvian Ceviche, a refreshing and tangy dish made with fresh tuna, sweet potato, cancha, and fried calamari. This dish is a classic of Peruvian cuisine and showcases the restaurant's skill with seafood. The second course is a Scallop Chicharron with Escabeche and Pachikai, a dish that combines crispy fried scallops with a spicy pickled vegetable and herb sauce.

The third course is Causa, a traditional Peruvian dish that features mashed potatoes topped with grilled octopus, pork belly, and olive salsa. The fourth course is Arroz Negro, a savory black rice dish made with trout, pea puree, salsa ocopa, and turnip. This dish is both hearty and flavorful, showcasing the rich and complex flavors of Latin cuisine.

The meal ends with a dessert of Arroz con Leche, a fried rice pudding topped with Natilla and apple. This sweet and indulgent dish is the perfect way to end a memorable meal.
